Server Version#:latest
Player Version#:latest
Hi folks, i seem to have lost complete access to my server, I mean I can log in but it just says unavailable, even on my LAN. Ive rebooted everything, signed out, done a repair install from the latest version but still no joy, Ive also signed in using these settings from the help section. Load the “bundled version of Plex Web App” on your Server computer using http://localhost:32400/web
or http://127.0.0.1:32400/web
I have no access to the server settings so I pulled some logs from the directory direct, could someone please have a look and tell me if theres any info there that can help? I first noticed it this morning at about 8am. Plex Media Server.1.rar (954.2 KB)
Many thanks in advance.

Very strange, its working as a client downstairs on my NUC but the pc with the server running says its unreachable, how bizarre. So I cant do anything with the server…
here is my debug log, not sure if it helps… Plex.txt (57.4 KB)
I have similar issue plex available on the internal network, also available externally from the public IP and port , but my friends can no longer connect, and plex.tv says unreachable. I think there is a connectivity bug on the plex website.
Lets hope they sort that out then! Mine still seems to work when I connect using my mobile over 4g so im guessing my family still have access.
I’m seeing the same thing on my server.
app.plex.tv shows my server as unreachable, but all apps (Roku, Apple TV, iOS) work just fine.
To me, it looks like an issue with the Plex service, but I’d love a fix if anyone had one.

I just checked and their status says everything is operational, Its certainly looking more like its not my PC at least but a reply from one of the team would be nice.
to be honest if it is a problem their end Im surprised more people are not complaining.

Is there anyone here from plex reading these posts? Still not working, this is best part of useless without server control.
I’m experiencing the same issue. I can access my library on my phone but not from a web browser.
Come on, PLEX team!
This is the message I am getting, The server “Alans Entertainment” is unreachable. Make sure it’s running, double check your network, and try again. I cant even fix incorrect matches for movies and shows, HELP!!!

The message is obviously bollox because I can access my library on other devices, although tonight was a ball ache, the client took forever to show content and browsing the library was painful, its getting worse!!!
So it looks like this has already been asked about although Im not entirely sure its exactly the same problem. Plex Server "Unreachable"
Seeing as support from the plex staff here is so poor I am considering pulling my subscription, to be honest its the only reason I subbed, I wouldnt mind if they just confirmed theres an issue with that last update for some people, how long would that take?
I am thinking of rolling back my server version but I do not want to re scan my library, the music alone takes days and days and hogs my network, I should probably ask on a new thread but can i roll back without having to add media again?
I found the answer… If you follow my steps above, everything will be retained.
Your libraries, channels and settings will all remain as they were.
If you however really want to erase everything, you better follow this guide:
https://support.plex.tv/hc/en-us/articles/201941078-Uninstall-Plex-Media-Serve
You don’t have to rescan if you roll back. I did it a couple of days ago, nothing changes but it fixes the issue.
Thanks, rolled back one version didnt work, rolling back 2 now…
So rolling back to PlexMediaServer-1.17.0.1841-d42cfa161-x86 has fixed it, what a ■■■■■■■ pain in the ■■■■…
Well I just got up and its not working again, looks like the server decided to update itself, I thought I had to do this manually? . God damn it!!!
