Plex is not reachable

´´plex is not reachable´´ remove the application on a lg tv I reinstall and get that message, I am on the same network I configure the ip of my server and it does not work for me and when I close the application on the tv it does not save the changes, someone help me with this error thanks

You should move this to the Plex Players > Smart TV area instead of “Forum Feedback” to get more traction.

Also might look at this announcement:

Don’t know if it applies to your device or not. Might amend your note with the model LG and the version of the Plex app it is running. More information will surely aid someone in helping you.

Same here. It was all OK and all of a sudden, I get the “Plex is not reachable Error”.
Attached are the screen shots.

Funny thing is on the same TV I can access Plex via DLNA using the LG Photo/Video App, and I also have another LG TV on the same network which is working fine.

I am totally clueless now, I ve tried them all. Switched off / unistalled & reinstalled app / different wifi etc etc

I have 2 users who have received the same message since 1-2 days. The only thing they have in common is that their LG TV are 5-10 years old. So I think the problem is there, plex ended the support for their model.

I’m getting the exact same problem, but I literally just bought a new LG Smart TV this month.

Same webos version, same problem here. :frowning: My TV is not even an year old. All other web apps like youtube and netflix are working just fine, so what goes? Plex?

in that problem I was able to enter through lg smart share and in plex server activating the ip network of my television, but through the direct application I enter that bug with no output the same I have 2 lg tv but with the webos it does not appear, the damage happened when I updated to the latest version of server plex

Please, investigate the issue. There is obviously a problem with LG’s TVs.

plkocev: What is the model number of your TV, and is it HD or UHD?

If it’s 720p or 1080p (HD) then I am sorry to say that you are out of luck.
As it seems that Plex has now dropped support for non-UHD (4K) smart tv’s.

I have had the same issue for a week or two now … my TV is like 5-10 years old.

I just did a factory reset on my TV (2018 Vizio E-series 55") and was getting the same error. In the upper right hand corner, I enabled early access and I am now able to log in.

Please use Error login LG webOS 4 and LG netCast for further discussion of this issue.
