If you got local metadata enabled, it should work. You mention deleting the files and re-adding, but did you do anything else? Typically, if you want Plex to recognize changes made to files, you must plex dance the files afterwards. If you don’t, Plex won’t even notice you deleted them and re-add…

I’ve done it all and did it again. I scrubbed , I danced, deleted and optimized…. It keeps doing the same. Every other music program- Apple Music , VLC, windows music program - whatever that is called- reads the dike correctly!! I’m at a loss !
