You have been using Plex for 10 years or so ?
WOB is only relevant if you state what the issue(s) are that you have with Plex.

Specifically, on this comment, no I am certainly not feeling ripped off.
I paid for PlexPass Lifetime years ago. I’ve had a working Plex server for more than 10 years serving up family videos across multiple countries to friends and family to various client devices. No real showstopping issues I can think of.
I’ve also had a working Plex HTPC for local use for media for a decade or so and Plex even resurrected a new HTPC app when most other software companies moved on to streaming. It replaced my XBMC (Kodi) years ago and whilst I have dabbled with other software for that purpose, nothing has come close to functionality and usability.
I’m had issues come up over the years with the software, but the forum has always been able to resolve the issues and in most cases, it was my fault 
The software is by no means perfect, and I don’t necessarily agree all the time with the direction Plex has taken. I also miss a few features I would like. However, overall, Plex (server and client software) has definitely not been a rip off.
