Plex is searching every movie in the wrong language

Plex is searching every movie in the wrong language for matching. It’s stuck on Danish and everything I have is “English” only. Literally, starting with the movies, they are all English language movies (bar some Russian in a separate folder). I strip out all subtitles except for English. The Plex Server is an Ubuntu PC dedicated to being a Plex server. Only English languages and English fonts. So, All of the settings in the computer are set to English (I double-checked) There are no non-English languages listed for the machine at all. Next I have searched several times in the Plex account and Plex settings, opening every button and making sure where possible everything is set to “English”. Everything is set to English. I have searched the Plex help, the Plex forum, and Google for “Plex searching in the wrong language” and “Plex Matching in the wrong language”. The best I get is check the settings.

I hope some one has a solution (in a very detailed explanation) for this.

Before anyone says the word “update”, there are no updates past what I get on a daily basis. Yes my machine is set to update everything every day. Backups are also every day. Danish appeared, as far as I can tell yesterday or slim possibility the day before.

I almost never ask for help, but I am just not getting anywhere with this.

What exactly do you mean by “Plex is searching every movie in the wrong language”?
Are you referring to the metadata Plex is showing in your local library?

Metadata language is specified per library:
︙ > Manage Library > Edit... → General > Language

After changing the language, you might need to refresh the library’s metadata:
︙ > Manage Library > Refresh All Metadata

Like I said in my email reply, “Firstly, Thanks for responding to help”.
I tried to respond from my email. Bad idea, I think.

So here I am. This is it.
Metadata language is specified per library:
︙ > Manage Library > Edit... → General > Language

Every time I change it to “English” it is reverting back to “Danish”. Why Danish? I don’t know. I am certainly not the Dane it is looking for.

Ok, just figured out you have to be more cunning than the box. I changed the language to English. Closed Plex. Restarted my server. The English language option seems to have stayed to English. Still double-checking. to be sure.
