Metadata language problem

Hello,

I have been running the Plex server on a XigmaNAS for several years. Yesterday I updated to the latest server. I don’t know if this is the problem. I then uploaded some movies and searched for metadata. All agents are set to “German” in terms of language. After a metadata comparison, all(!) my series were changed from German to English. When I select a series and go to “Fix matches”, I always find that the mask is preset to “English”. See attachment. If I go to search options (left) and preselect “German”, the desired metadata is displayed and I can change it.

Where can I make a setting to change this basic assignment back to German? I would also be grateful for a link.

  1. verify that your web browser is not configured to automatically translate web pages on the domain plex.tv from English to German. The same applies for web pages on the local IP address of your server machine.
  2. edit the series library. The selector for the default metadata language is right on the first tab. https://support.plex.tv/articles/200289266-editing-libraries/
