Plex issue is making me loose my mind

So starting a few weeks ago I found I had a driver update on my WiFi card which my server is on. Didn’t think anything of it but it has caused so much grief that now my whole plex server is inoperable. Basically started out that for whatever reason it couldn’t connect to the internet which made no sense because I could connect just fine. No worries, rebooted server and computer numerous times with still the same issue. Next step was fresh install of the server with no luck. Past that I went in and decided to delete and read my WiFi drivers. No luck. At this point I am thinking I’ll just completely wipe all traces of plex and try reinstalling it like a brand new system. So I delete all registry files for plex and even the local app data. Big mistake, reinstall plex server and now I cannot get back in to even create new libraries. Completely locked up and will not get into the web page no matter how many different ways I try to connect. Please help

Strongly recommend moving from WiFi to a wired connection on your server if you can.

I strongly agree, ha. Right at this point in time I can’t and so far this whole year has been fine up until just recently. Soon in the future it’ll be hardlined but for now this is what I got

What version of Windows are you running Plex on? You didn’t mention creating a backup of the Registry before you made the changes. One workaround is to create a new (admin) account on the machine then install Plex with that new account. It should create a new Plex database, new libraries, the works. If you still can’t create new libraries, look into restoring the Registry to the default settings then try it again.

I didn’t backup the registries. I just killed it all. got a little careless. tried adding a new admin user and running the server through that with no luck. what are the default registries for plex? running win 10
