Hello All, I’m having this weird issues with my plex accounts I have 1 admin account and 3 managed accounts and for about the last month are so. I noticed that the only account that seems to be working is the admin account . I also noticed that no matter how I try to access it plex wether its the firestick, Roku, plex web or plex app it keeps telling me that the server had a error then it will show up for a sec then tell me that is offline but I go sit in front of the plex server and its running just fine please help

If the admin account still works on all these client devices, it sounds like the issue is just with the managed accounts. Have you checked the managed user settings to make sure they still have all their libraries set to be shared with them?

It sounds like this issue has been going on for a little while, but I wanted to point out when I did the password reset for the data breach it removed the shared library settings for my managed user, so I had to redo those.

@nx6 yes UI even went as far as deleting and recreating one of the managed users and it still just will not work on any device not even the web

You need to reset your account password.
After this procedure the above issue is probably gone as well.

@OttoKerner Ok looks like that fixed the problem. Here is something that I noticed after I changed the password I could do anything until I was on the server and reclaimed the server again just like when I first set it up

So I’m back because what I thought was working was not its still doing the same thing even when a new managed user is created. It’s very weird because I didn’t have this issues on my Fire Stick but once I added my Roku express 4k I noticed this issue . So now that the password has been changed and I’m still having this issues what can I try

Maybe sever the connection between the Roku account and your Plex account by going here Sign In | Plex
Then re-link them.

I’d also try to sign out on all client devices, reboot them and then sign in again.

In the case of the web app, I’d also clear the cookies from plex.tv and empty the browser cache.

hey I tried that and its still doing the same thing I’m not sure what else to try
