Hello, I have had plex on the same little pc for years now with little trouble. Certainly, nothing i haven’t been able to sort on my own.
Until now.
As per the title, Plex has just started being incredibly poor recently.
It’s often forcing an indirect connection even over the same network. Even on the same LG Smart Tv that it has had zero problems with before.
I have also been spending more time at my girlfriend’s and am encountering even more problems there. She has a Roku Express, I know its not the best little streamer but according to the Plex website, it should be able to run it fine. Though 1.31.0.6654i can’t find any details on the supported file types.
Its not allowing any connection at all, just gives me the error message that it can’t play as direct play is disabled. Direct play is enabled on both the server and on the player.
So I resorted to using my Google Pixelbook Chromebook. Again, I haven’t had any issues in the past but now it won’t play anything. I just get an error message saying it can’t play the media. No information as to why.
