Ah thank you for the quick reply
however I’m getting the same error " -sh: Plex/Library/Application: No such file or directory "
Welp there’s something wrong then, because I can’t even access /volume1/Plex even with the root account. That might be my fault, I retry it
Nevermind I’ve restart PuTTY and it worked this time, my bad
Perfectly worked thank you, I’ll continue to follow your guide
For info and note on the thread:
All checks for corruption returned ok.
Edit 1: Error returned for the stepped command 2: sqlite3 com.plexapp.plugins.library.db "DROP index 'index_title_sort_naturalsort'"
Error: no such index: index_title_sort_naturalsort
Edit 2: Error returned for the stepped command 7:
chown plex:plex com.plexapp.plugins.library.db
chown: invalid group: ‘plex:plex’
Others commands went well.
Aaaand it is also recommended to delete or move the dump of the db, but I don’t know this command so I can’t execute it
I’ll retry it with the correct command thanks
Should I also re-execute the commands after this one ?
So I re-did everything without any errors, I should be good with this
Should I move my dumps before restart or I’m good to go
?
Ahaha I really hope too ! But in any case, you were really invested in my issue and I could not be more grateful for all the things and patience you used for me… So thank you so much, really ![]()
Edit: Yup the end of your guide say
Prior to restarting your Plex Media Server, you should also delete or backup and move elsewhere the following two files if they exist alongside the original database:
com.plexapp.plugins.library.db-shmcom.plexapp.plugins.library.db-wal
Maybe I didn’t understand correctly, but I thought it would mean that I should move these backups somewhere else
I’m sure I should be good after that, I don’t really know what we could do from now
So this is where our paths diverge, I’m sure it’ll be alright, (otherwise you should see me somewhere in this forum, me and my issue ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) ).
Thanks again for your help and Happy near Halloween !
