I’ve had most of my 900 movies in plex, but I added movies and they don’t appear. So I changes the library location adding only 2 of the directories, but now it only shows 20 of the 900 or so files. The Plex Media Server.log shows all the files being added to the scan, but only some appear.
May I see your logs please? Settings - Server - Help - Download Logs and attach the ZIP. I’ll look at both PMS and the agents.
Attached. I reloaded with a new structure and I’m back to where I was where several files are not loading. And I see in the log files I’ve got a few files that won’t scan. THe Rebels S3E… all don’t show up, but the log shows them being read
Thanks for the logs.
For future reference, you can post directly in the Synology forum. It will allow us to spot your request quicker and have more eyes on it. The general forum is so busy it’s easily overlooked for a while.
Did you suffer a power outage or other abrupt shutdown? PMS looks like it was shutdown twice extremely abruptly.

While I see no “Permission denied” errors.
I do see where your Synology can’t reach the internet. It’s an intermittent connection. One moment ok, the next not, then returns.

I saw those errors also. I moved around files, which gave the 1st error. Then I’ve got a sync directory that it dislikes. And then I’m sure there is an occasional outage of the network. But in the file, it shows the missing movie files being put onto the list, but then they never appear in the plex movie list.
One thing Plex doesn’t like is media popping in and popping back out. That’s why it’s complaining. If that directory contains transient content, I’d advise a slight restructure around it / don’t put it where PMS monitors actively.
In the absence of errors in the scanner logs over matching or permissions, one has to ask if PMS even sees the files. From all indications, user plex
never had or the errors have simply rolled off the end of the logs (impossible to tell).
I can only suggest you remove those directory(ies) you know are missing , scan , empty trash, clean bundles, then add them back in. See what happens. With those results (in the logs) we can find out what’s really transpiring
