I just noticed that my mount on my Plex Media Server was unmounted for a few days, which caused Plex to scan and remove all of my movies at some point this week. I just re-mounted the Movies folder and now Plex is rescanning my entire library and metadata just like I hadn’t watched any of them before and my recently added is now also screwed up.
Is there a way I can get back all my “watched” states, collections, and library that I’ve been maintaining?
Nevermind, I just restored to a backup database from a few days ago. Something to keep an eye out for though, very annoying
Disable empty trash after scanning

When would be a good idea to empty the trash if not after scanning?
When you do a scan, and you deleted medias, else no reason to empty the trash
