Plex Linux 1.31.1.6782 high CPU during (Credit) scan

Since upgrading from 1.30.2.6563 two days ago, the scheduled overnight scans are setting off “High CPU Utilization” alerts on the Plex server inside my SNMP monitor. Both mornings I’ve seen the “Detecting Credits” scan running nearly five hours after the scan was scheduled to start:

And, the log is showing a recurring “failed to read line (error: -1)”:
