I’ve got a weird issue. I can’t play a live TV show from either the web player, or iOS Plex app (those are all I have) but if I click record and then play it will play just fine. I usually don’t watch live TV but now that Football is back I wanna be able to watch some live TV! So the workaround is to click the record button and then click the play button and then I can watch but I’d like to see if I can fix up just watching live TV!
Any ideas?

Most likely it has something to do with the combination of transcode settings, stream settings, and bandwidth caps. I was messing with some settings trying to tune my outgoing streams, but it affected my ability to watch from the tuner. Here are some settings I set to get it working again.
Remote streams allowed per user: Unlimited
Transcoder quality: Automatic
Disable video stream transcoding: off
Maximum simultaneous video transcode: Unlimited
Enable DLNA: off (recommended to help reduce unnecessary processor usage)
Background transcoding x264 preset: Very fast
My 2 cents here. Latest server version, xiaomi mi box, latest beta plex app. While I was having serious issues last week, I applied the beta version of the android tv plex app and noticed immediate improvement. At the time every 5 minutes or so the screen would freeze. Now during godzilla marathon it’s freezing with the orange circle, but starting to play again.
