Plex losing shares and re-scan

Hi,
for a reason unknown reason, my Plex server ( running on my DS216+II ) lost access today to a shared folder containing my movies files for a short period.
After seeing that Plex wasn’t displaying all my movies , I managed to mount this share again , but I had to launch a library scan to get my library back , and it took a long time ( 1000 movies ).
I feel like Plex is not storing my database, and did the whole scan from scratch…
Is it normal ?

At times, DSM drops the permissions for user plex to your media shares.

Control Panel - Shared Folders - EDIT the share - add user plex again.

I saw it too… changed permissions for Plex and also unchecked the put to trash after scan option…
will see…
