Plex (mac) player Not found page for some library (but really existing)

Player Version#: 1.31.1.2262-74fdc6b7

Recently ( 1 month or so) 2 of my 4 libraries display a not found page on plex mac app.
Of course boths are existing and correctly viewable on server webpage.

I can only do “Go home” on this page.

All recent items from the “missing” libraries are present on the home page, and I can play them also navigate to season page of the show for example.
Only if I try to go to the top page of the library I got again the not found page.
the plex player last update didn’t solve the issue.

The old PMP player have no issue with the 2 library , android app is also fine with the same 2 library.

in the server log I can see something like
QueryParser: Invalid field ‘contentDirectoryID’ found, ignoring.
QueryParser: Invalid field ‘pinnedContentDirectoryID’ found, ignoring.
QueryParser: Invalid field ‘sectionID’ found, ignoring.

How can I fix this issue ?

Have you gone to more and pinned your libraries

Yes they were pinned (the 4 was).
I have try to unpin / repin but same issue 2 o 4 give me the Not found page

Try creating a test library and see if it’s found

Hi,
New created library are found.

But on other app (android / appleTV) all the libraries works. It’sonly on the plex player I got the issue.
I have try to reinstall the app ( delete ~/library/app support/plex) but still same issue

So the resolution is to recreate those Libraries and make sure your Server is up to date

It’s not a solution I will need to retag all wrong tagged items and lost every readed items… lost also all the collections etc…

It’s only a bug on the player (not on others device) and several people having the same issue on windows too.

So the real solution is not to delete the library as they are still working very fine but reseting the player as descibed here :
Suppose to Reset Defaults on the Plex Web Debug page under your server settings

this page is available on server web interface as well on the desktop app. when reseting the not found error is finally gone ! and you don’t loose any settings in matcing / read status …
