I bought a new computer to be my Plex server. I copied the exact same directory I had from one box to the other.
The new machine looked at my meticulously named directories and decided that Doctor Who and Doctor Who (2005) along with Battlestar Galactica and BattleStar Galactica (2003) were the same thing, put them all in on big super Doctor Who and Battlestar Galactica and matched some files as ‘two of them’ and some files to the right show and some to the wrong show.
The problem is, I can’t seem to freaking fix it and it’s driving me bonkers. The ‘fix metada’ button is gone, won’t let me do it on individual files, and I have no clue has to how to un-merge two completely different files (names both have the show in them, but have the full episode name and year too)
where is the fix button? why is it not on individual files? it will only let me fix the whole season which only changes the covers it doesn’t un-match the episodes. Hell some don’t even exist in one season. IE BSG 2003 was only 13 episodes long first season, yet it took all the 1978 ones that went past thirteen in the season and won’t let me do anything.
What’s the deal? Why is that fix button limited to just the entire series where I can’t fix anything?
