I just got a new NETGEAR AC1750 WiFi Router that I am using Plex Server with Denon Heos Wireless speaker system. Prior to getting the new WiFi the Plex Media Server would connect to my Heos app and I could access all my music that is on the Plex Media Server. Since I go the new WiFi Plex the Media Server doesn’t not connect on my Heos app. I have worked with Denon Heos customer service and they tell me that there must be setting Plex Media Server that needs to be changed. I have Plex Media running with Windows 10. The WiFi router is connected to all the Heos speakers and they are working fine are working fine. So I don’t think it is a WiFi issue. Does anyone know what I need to do to fix this issue. Thanks
If this started with the new router, and the speakers are working OK, it might be that the Heos controller app has its own requirements. This might be helpful, from Denon support:
