I’ve got a problem, I’ve no “Data” directory in “/volume2/Plex/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server”…

Please check your Server settings.
Your logs are showing me that it’s not enabling automatic detection when PMS starts.
I normally see [Notify] messages when Automatic is enabled. I do not see them in yours.

To avoid any confusion, as I get the interface in french, can you confirm me that’s the first checkbox in “Library”, please ? In french “Analyser ma bibliothèque automatiquement”.

I try to apply it again.
Perhaps, when files are created through my Transmission package, it doesn’t give it the correct permissions… I’ll look at it.

I know how to chmod through shell, but how to force the new directories/files (those which are not already created but will be when Transmission will download it) to have the correct permission, please ?
A thing I still not understand : if the directories/files have not the correct permissions (and I don’t say it’s not the fact) how is it possible that manual scan query find it ?

I’m still stuck in it :’(.
I’ve tried to apply again permission using File Station on DSM, all seems to be OK for Plex user (it has all the write/read access permissions on the “media” directory (confirmed by the fact I can read/modify/delete any files using Plex, and manual scan work well).
I don’t know how to apply 755/644 CHMOD for the user Plex using Shell access :/.
I’ve just try to add “advanced permissions” to the directory, using File Station, to see if it change something. Waiting for a test… I’ll keep you up to date about it.

If I’m right, we already concidered the fact of a limit of directories count, and it doesn’t seem to be the problem.
To be sure, see attached a screenshot of the counts on my “media” directory.
