Tested with PMP 2.27:
Plex companion is still not working

Tested with PMP 2.28 and Android App 7.11.2.9149.
Companion in TV Mode still not working, as i described in Detail here :

Hopefully someone from the Devs confirms this and reports back, so we know its been worked on.
Tired of seeing Release Logs sounding like they could solve these Issues but nothing changes.

Hi,
Tested with WINDOWS PMP 2.29.1 and IOS / Android Apps.
(on Mac PMP the Companion Function runs fine)
The Audio Playlist Companion function is still not working (since 8 months!).
Is there any hope of fixing?

Maybe this helps someone, here is my current workaround for this issue:
On my HTPC I just installed PlexAMP and Plex Media Player and put both in my autostart.
So I am now using PlexAMP as compainion player for music playback and PMP for the movies. It seems like PlexAMP does not hit any of the PMP issues I was complaining about. And it even supports the gapless playback.

Thanks for the temporary workaround!
Using the Android app to cast to PlexAMP on PC works, even with random tracks.

I did some brief testing, it seems like it is finally fixed in PMP v2.30. thank you!
