I have player running on a windows 7 computer and want to be able to cast to it from all my devices. I get constant cannot connect to player errors from laptops and phones. Once it connects it plays fine but it often takes multiple attempts.
Which player?
Plex media player
Casting from Android and/or web app on chrome.
Then it is a known issue. Companion play is buggered currently in PMP.

New update seems to be much better. few quirks but connects/stays connected
