Plex Media Player (Mac) missing Play Folder icon

Hi,

Are there any plans to implement a sequential “play folder” icon in Plex Media Player? Starting playback on the top track in the folder does not enqueue the folder in its displayed order, but seems to be doing something based on albums. I have several folders with mixed content that I’ve curated myself, and I’d like to play these back in some order other than ‘by album’. Possibly title or added date.

I seem to remember this is available in the PS4 version. I have Plex for AppleTV but I haven’t tried this out yet.

What are your feelings about dropping those items into a playlist?

Well it’s not great, not terrible :slight_smile: I absolutely don’t mind using playlists as a temporary solution, that would work.

I’ve got too much stuff to create playlists for everything though; I guess I’d like a better solution at some point - that playback follows the display order. Or some other configurable field (album track number from the metadata, maybe?).
