Plex Media Server 100% CPU usage Version 1.32.6.7371 macOS

Server Version#: 1.32.6.7371
Player Version#: Plex Web Client

Anyone else seeing CPU issues with the new 1.32.6.7371 plex media server version? I’m seeing it take 100% of a single core at all times even when there is no activity on the server. Can’t see anything in the logs to account for it… nothing is happening. Am I the only one?

I also still have this CPU usage issue as well which has not been resolved-> PLEX movie issue - CPU death spiral - #45 by jonnyatlas

I see no such issues but i do not use any Apple products at all. The good news is since the Windows version works well (or at least does not overload my cpu) it is something specific to your system.

I ran the plexDBRepair tool and that seemed to help. Still not sure what the service was actually doing when it was sitting there at 100% for days…

never mind, its back… just sits at 100% ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

it’s not overloading the cpu, its just consuming 100% of a single core (the machine has 12 cores, 24 with hyper-threading)
