I’m running plex media server on my mac mini. I’m based in Australia and use Optus as my ISP and also use their provided router which includes Wi-Fi Security.
Whenever the server is running, my internet connection on my Mac drops out. When i stop the server, it tends to come back after a short period.
From reading other posts form the USA, I found people were having a similar issue with their ISP provided routers/wi-fi security.

Has anyone else had this issue with Optus wi-fi security and how did you resolve it?
I have tried turning wi-fi security off, but for some reason it keeps turning back on. I have contacted Optus but am waiting for a response on how to disable it.
Any suggestions from anyone, would be GREATLY appreciated.
