Plex Media Server Crash

Server Version#: Windows Server 2016 with Plex Media Server 1.13.8.5395
Player Version#:Many players, (rasplex, Samsung player) Plex Media Player 2.19.1.904-f679df4f

Plex Server crash several times a day, this behavior only appear since the last update, previously with “Plex-Media-Server-1.13.8.5388” didn’t have any problem

Plex Media Server disconnect all clients and then crash some process, but not all of them, I have to kill them.

The only log I have info on time are “Plex Tuner Service.log” and “Plex Crash Uploader.log”

I didn’t have any tunner device connect to de server, Any idea?

I’m having the same exact issue with the Plex Media Server.exe crashing, and leaving like transcoder.exe still working. The only differance I’m having is that I’m using the PS4 Plex app when the crash happens. All other devices work fine thou.
Also using the Plex Media Server 1.13.8.5395.
I ended up clean-installing the whole computer last night :frowning:
So I’ll test some things out and se what happens!

Hello!

I didn’t have any PS4 but I have a many other players, mostly samsung tv and rasplex, but we have in common transcoder.exe because sometimes there can play in “direct play”. At this moment I have 1 transcode container (MKV to MPEGTS) and didn’t crash since two days.

We have to investigate and collect information. I will inform you if there is any news.

I have the same issue after updated to 1.13.8.5395 and i can fix it , only running about 15 or 15 min and crashed. someone has the solution

Last Saturday, I found in the logs a messages indicates database corruption.
I followed this guide to solve the problem Repair a Corrupt Database | Plex Support . After that i didn’t have more problems. Now I will update to the last versión 1.13.9.5439 and I will cross the fingers for the stability :wink:
