I’m having an issue where the Plex Media Server is crashing at varying times for seemingly unknown reason. I might not be streaming something and it crashes, I might be streaming something it crashes, might be at 1am, 2pm, 8pm, etc.
When it crashes, the transcoder process, updater process, etc, all stay live. The only thing that crashes is the Plex Media Server Process. It isn’t creating a crash log, but I have the .dmp file. Plex Server Logs and DMP.zip (3.6 MB)
I’ve attempted to simply uninstall and reinstall Plex, but that didn’t seem to ease the issue at all. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Edit: I’ll leave this up just incase someone wanders across it with a similar issue. It was my music library being shamefully unorganized (and not following plex’s highly recommended naming standards for songs). Removing the music library from my Plex Server completely fixed my crashing issues.
