PLEX MEDIA SERVER CRASHES CONSTANTLY / UPNP ISSUE

Server Version#: 1.25.3.5409
Player Version#:

Hi everyone… I’m writing here to beg for help since I’ve tried everything and I can’t find a solution

My PMS keeps crashing and I’m sure what the cause is:

NAT: UPnP, getPublicIP didn’t find usable IGD.

NAT: PMP, got an error: NATPMP_ERR_RECVFROM.

At first I had problems with the double NAT, but finally I was able to make my ISP to configure their router in Bridge mode so that I could manage the network with mine without problems. Although I managed to solve the double NAT problem, I still have this error and it’s causing PMS to crash constantly.

My router is a TP LINK Archer C80 and I’ve already configured port forwarding, as seen in the photo, I’ve also disabled UPNP… I don’t understand why it keeps throwing that error

We use uPnP to find out the public IP address from asking the router - this allows us to check for Double NAT by comparing this IP address with that seen by plex.tv

You say “server crashes constantly” - do you really mean a server process crash ? or are you referring to the logged error message as a crash??

I do not see any owned Plex Media Servers on your familia0 account - do you have other account for the server?

Enabling uPnP may stop this error being logged
NAT: UPnP, getPublicIP didn’t find usable IGD.

If you have a manual port forward in place then these errors should have no impact to remote access. Debug server logs taken after a fresh launch and when the problem is there, would help understanding your issue - but the errors you mention are just log lines and are harmless - when you have selected manually specified port and you have a portforward for 192.168.1.60
