Plex Media Server crashes when trying to play one specific 4K HDR Movie

Hi,

First post here, I’ve been using my Nvidia Shield Pro to run my PMS connected to a WD EX2 NAS. I have one specific movie (Gravity) that causes the PMS to crash, its played in the past and all of a sudden it won’t. It is a large file, 42GB, but I have no problem playing larger files 60GB+. Also, I tried to play Gravity on using VLC on the Shield and it works fine. Any ideas why?

Is there any logs I could post that could help trouble shooting?

Player Version#: Latest

I was able to fix this specific problem by going into my plex app settings within the shield and changed video settings subtitle from “image formats only” to “automatic”, then it allowed me to play the file.
