Plex Media Server Download for Ubuntu is giving me the Web Client Version

Hello everyone,

i am trying very hard to install the Plex Media Server on my Ubuntu 14.04.1. However, both, the file downloaded from the offical homepage (https://downloads.plex.tv/plex-media-server/1.14.1.5488-cc260c476/plexmediaserver_1.14.1.5488-cc260c476_amd64.deb) als well as the nstallation method described here (https://support.plex.tv/articles/235974187-enable-repository-updating-for-supported-linux-server-distributions/) plus an additional “sudo apt-get install plexserver” won’t install the server-version of Plex but the Web-Client-version 3.77.4. The installation complets without any errors but as try to reach the Plex Media Server in my webbrowser under [correctaddr.]:32400/web, i do not reach the server configuration but the Web-Client.

I would apreciate any help from you.

Initial setup is only allowed from the local network of the server. Please read the installation instructions, especially the “Opening the Plex Web App on a Device Other than the Server Itself” part and use the ssh method.
