Cannot access my server. I have tried to uninstall and reinstall, look through countless articles for possible soloutions; and plex is still not working. Any ideas?
There’s very little to no information regarding your issue(s) in your post right now so it’s somewhat difficult to try and help.
Does Plex run at all? Do you see anything in Task Manager? Have you checked the PMS logs? You can find the logs in the PMS data directory (details here: https://support.plex.tv/articles/202915258-where-is-the-plex-media-server-data-directory-located/).
Plex is running, it just says looking for server. I do see it in task manager. There are no logs to check.
Have you tried accessing the server by going to http://[your servers ip]:32400?
Yes I have tried. I get an error stating that local host refused to connect.
Have you checked your network adapter to ensure it is in a Private network and not public which would cause the Windows Firewall to block access to Plex?
It is set to a private network.
I’m having similar issues with mine. I just keeps spinning “Looking for servers…” Confirmed that Plex server is running in both the task manager and in the windows services app.

Are you logging in with the same username/password both on the Server and on the client?
Are you using Edge or Internet Explorer? if so try Chrome or Firefox.
I am using chrome. The username/passwords are the same.
On the Plex Media Server if you open Chrome and enter 127.0.0.1:32400 what happens?
Can you grab the logs from the Plex Media Server?
Can you grab the logs from the Plex Media Player you are using?
This site can’t be reached 127.0.0.1 refused to connect.
There are no logs files. Getting the error windows cant find \Plex Media Server\Logs
But Plex Media Server is installed on this computer and running? Is it showing in the Taskbar? If it is running the 127.0.0.1:32400 should have at least displayed the login screen for the server.
It is in the taskbar. When I go to
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Plex Media Server\Logs. Windows can find them.
So you can provide the logs then. What about the Plex Media Player logs can you also grab those.

Which log is that supposed to be? Please zip the entire log folder and upload the zip file here.
If you could also copy/paste the logs from Plex Media Player into a text file and also upload to this thread.
