How can I search a show name before add it to my database ??!

Plex uses information from thetvdb.com and themoviedb.org to match TV shows (and info from imdb.com & themoviedb.org for movies).
For the best matching, name your show as it exists on those sites.
Regarding Great Courses…
TheTVDB has it as one show with two seasons, The Foundations of Western Civilization. I did not see the show listed on themoviedb.org.
This should work, as it matches the layout at thetvdb.com:

..../repeat for rest of episodes

Thanks I was able to change for 2 seasons and see it on PLEX. This was very good learning.
For the 2nd season I will need to change all the titles as this don’t match !!
Does PLEX have a article with a list and links for all the databases used by PLEX for referencing ?
But I am surprising that PLEX will not accept a title that is not on one of this databases !! How we can add or create something that is not on the references databases ?? Per example if i create a series for my home videos, how can I upload it to PLEX ??!!
Put it in a library of the type “Other Videos”
Simple pattern matching:
PowerRenamer in Microsoft PowerToys. Very easy to search/replace s01 with s02, etc.

You mean create a show folder called “Other Videos”, and inside create a list of others show folders ?

You can organize your personal media similar to movies or similar to TV shows.
Which library type (Other or TV Shows) you use depends on how you want to organize things.

you mean automatic scan after file changes doesn’t work. that is an old unfix issue
