I’ve tried adding several shows to my server recently and none of them are being detected. Movies seem fine but shows are not getting added. I’ve named them all according to the Plex article about naming TV shows.
Did you previously have this show added to your server?
Based on your “Plex Media Server.log” (and also “Plex Media server.1.log”) it looks like you had this show previously scanned in but your filenames were slightly different. Because of that, Plex should be updating your existing entry with the new names (old names had “(1080p AMZN WEB-DL x265 t3nzin)” in it according to the logs).
What I would suggest is to do the Plex Dance, which is essentially moving your complete “Euphoria (2019) {tvdb-360261}” folder to a different location that Plex does not look at. Scan your library where that show should be and then empty the trash. This will remove the show from your database completely (so you will lose any watch history that was there). Once you do that, put the folder back to where you had it and then scan the library again.
If you still have an issue, post updated logs.

It was not being recognized under the previous names so I changed them to the preferred naming convention.
I just did the Plex Dance and the show is still not appearing under TV Shows.

Under Manage Library > Edit > Advanced is your scanner set to “Plex TV Series” and agent set to “Plex Series”?

Holy cow thank you so much. When I went to this setting it was set to “Shows”, whereas my folder is called “TV Shows”. I must’ve changed the folder name from “Shows” to “TV Shows” at some point without updating in Plex because there were a bunch of older shows that were still working in Plex. This has been driving me crazy for months. Thank you!
