Plex Media Server Mac not finding content

Plex was running fine 2 updates ago. Then all hell broke loose. It can’t scan the libraries to see any of my content on an attached HD. I try to update the libraries, the Activity icon flashes for a second and then stops. I have removed the Movies and TV libraries listing from the server listing and re-created them, no luckI have removed, installed many times both player and media server, to no success. Help!

Found the solution on a Reddit post for Plex.
Have you Added app “Plex Media Server” (PMS) to the list of enabled apps in:
System Preferences > Security & Privacy > Privacy > Full Disk Access & Input Monitoring & Files & Folders?

This solved the problem with Monterey and PMS sating that media was “unavailable”

This saved me tonight. I reinstalled Plex on may Mac 8 times and it would load the media, but not the metadata. I was missing this :man_facepalming:
