I see so many people having this problem and as a developer i don’t understand why this isn’t being addressed. At first I potentially thought it was due to my library which I’ve determined its not. The server goes down and then there is only the heading in settings with no option to start underneath it.
It’s definitely an issue with the Plex client on the shield. The way it can be reproduced:
- Reset the Nvidia Shield to factory settings
- Install Plex client and Plex Media Server. A default server will be created and it will be turned on.
- Upgrade plex media server. The old client (which is very old) has the option to turn on and off the server - whether you crash out the client, restart shield, doesnt matter.
- Upgrade the client - Plex media server setting only the headline shows and no options.
Can someone please fix this. This is a horrible bug.
