Like a lot of people, my Plex Media Server was borked after the 9.0 update went out several months back. I eventually was able to resolve the issue by uninstalling and reinstalling both Plex and the Media Server apps and having it rebuild my library.
Just the other day though the power to the Shield got disconnected and after rebooting, the Plex Media Server settings are missing again from the Plex settings. The header is there but not the gear or storage options.
I’ve tried everything from clearing cache and data in both apps, uninstalling and reinstalling both apps, and even factory resetting the Shield itself and then reinstalling the apps. No matter what I do though those options never become available. I’m ready to ditch this thing and move to another device for my server but thought I’d reach out first to see if there’s a way to fix it. Thanks.
