Plex Media Server not allowing connections

Server Version#: v1.23.3.4707-ebb5fe9f3
Player Version#:

Hello,

For some reason - I cannot get to my PMS at all, connections via the player fail and even connections from the local server its hosted on, accessing 127.0.0.1:32400 in the browser fail. The Plex Media Server.exe is started, has a PID - monitoring that PID in netstat shows the application listening on 32400, but unable to connect either remotely or locally. I’ve checked my PMS logs and there doesn’t really appear to be any warnings, but I can post them here if needed (I guess I’ll need to sanitise first to remove my public IP etc?) Unfortunately I think I have verbose logging on from a previous issue, but unable to get to the settings to turn that back off, so if logs are needed they’ll be in verbose level

I’ve restarted the server, ended and restarted the process, nothing is working so far. I’ve also turned off Windows Firewall, but not being able to access locally ruled that one out anyway.

How about Why am I locked out of Server Settings and how do I get in? | Plex Support.

Thanks for the suggestion, after an hour more of digging I found that if I killed all Plex services and then run Plex Media Server.exe as an administrator - everything would work fine. Any more reports of this type of issue?

Did you install PMS as an administrator?
