Can't access http://127.0.0.1:32400/web, can access via localhost, but no settings availble

Server Version#:1.23.1.4571

Not sure what else to try. I’ve scoured the internet for suggestions, but can’t seem to find anything that works. PMS starts up just fine and seems to run, but it won’t add any new media and it won’t allow me to access the settings. What logs can I provide that might provide some insight?

Thank you. I did try that last night with no success. I suspect it’s a Windows problem and not really a PMS problem. It’s just that PMS is the only application that I need to use the localhost via IP.

During those steps, was Plex Server stopped?

Yes, I had stopped the PMS.

@johnruhlman when you access PMS via the localhost, is your actual media content displayed/accessible? Or is PMS just launched in a limbo state?

Everything works on the PMS from a user standpoint. I can’t get to the settings at all though. Playing content works fine, but PMS has stopped finding new content. That’s where I was hoping something in the logs would help, but I’m not sure which logs to include.

Can you share the logs with us?

Plex.tv dropped support at 05/27/21 for crypted secured connection for Windows 7 platform for Plex media player for windows 7. Maybe you are struck with this issue on some other older platform, because people are reporting that older versions of Win10 and other non windows platform were struck with same issue.
Only solution is to set in server option only to unsecured unencrypted connection.
In my case even secured I can log-in, browse and work with library, but I cant play any media, its tested on multiple ISP, routers and plex accounts and different servers.
You can play and enter unsecured even on older platforms.
