Plex Media Server on DS918+ | Missing poster & background artwork after migration

Server Version#: 1.18.5.2309-f5213a238
Player Version#: Version 4.12.3

I’ve searched through the forums quite a bit and tried different solutions, but I haven’t found one that works for my problem.

I am trying to move a PMS from an old synology nas to another new synology nas DS918+. Together with my movies/series etc I also copied the entire Library folder with all it’s metadata (followed the support pages).
Now all the meta seems to be there, except for all the poster artwork.

When I try and edit a poster of a single movie, then there are a lot of empty boxes and the correct empty box seems to be selected, but the actual poster art (jpg image) won’t load / show. Same goes for Backgrounds.

I checked the shared folders permissions etc and even did some testing with giving every user full access (did this through ssh). Did not seem to work.

When I inspect the web client / player I see alot of GET errors: 500 internal server error.

I checked the logs and see errors like:

ERROR - Error resizing an image, we don’t trust what we cached [/volume1/Plex/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Cache/PhotoTranscoder/7f/7f63597c5202bd43418bd36846c828c27bb6f9bb.jpg]

when I try to search for these .jpg files I can NOT find them. Both on the old NAS and on the new NAS, which is very strange to me?

I’m not sure what else to try and I hope someone can help me out.
