What are possible reasons that Plex running wont keep the Mac awake?

Server Version#: 4.76.1
Player Version#:8.3 (2621) on Apple TV

My mac settings are always on “put hard disk to sleep when possible” and for as long as I have been using plex, never had an issue. With any server version after version 1.20.1.3252 my player will disconnect and say “the connection with the server has been lost”. I will go check my Macbook Pro, and its in sleep mode. Isnt Plex running, enough to keep it from sleeping? Never had this issue until after I upgraded from 1.20.1.3252.

So now I have resorted to running using an app on my Mac that will keep the Mac from sleeping while Plex is running.

Thank you, yeah I didnt have to do that before. Once I upgraded PMS after 1.20.1.3252., this issue came up. I still prefer to not keep that unchecked, so now I run amphetamine for Mac. I set up a trigger for when Plex is open, amphetamine will keep the disk from sleeping.
