Plex Media Server - Plex Web - logging in breaks

Server Version#: 1.20.4.3517
Player Version#:

Hi guys,
i have been trying for some time to register a plex media server installed on a raspberry pi with my plex account. But whenever I am soerit comes first: successfully registered, and after a few redirects: Error during registration.

please someone can help me!

Please manually make a tar.gz of the “Logs” directory (under /var/lib/plemediasserver – or wherever you set it up)

That tar.gz will tell us what it doesn’t like.

hi, can you tell me how i can do this?

Jack,

Open the terminal window.
navigate over to /var/logs/plexmediaserver
go further down to the logs directory
make a tar.gz of it
attach that tar.gz here with your logs

The screenshot you show should have the IP address and info of your server.
It does this the first time (cookie challenge) to make sure you ended up where you expected to. It’s an anti-phishing / anti-redirect check for you to be certain. There were cases were folks would think they are going to a a friend’s server and ended up somewhere else.

ChuckPa,

there is no directory like this.

its absolutly right, it was my way. its navigate automatigely to this page

Jack.

Please forgive me.

I made a big typo

/var/lib/plexmediaserver

full path:

/var/lib/plexmediaserver/Library/Application Support/Plex Media Server/Logs

(it’s been a very long weeek)

oh, no problem.

and here is the logfile:
logs.tar.gz (162.1 KB)

Are you using IPv6 or IPv4? You have both stacks active.
Both are receiving traffic.

Is this server on a remote hosted location?

i am using probably IPv4 for the configuration.

the Server is an Raspberry pi 3 how is running in my local network. the foundation is Raspian.

Hi,

I had found an Answer. I changed the Browser so i can log in in register the Server to my Account. Thank you for the try to help
