Hello, I have been trying to get remote access working for hours upon hours, searching every post I can get my hands on thoroughly but I simply cannot figure out how. It sometimes works for 10 minutes and then turns off, here is a screenshot:
You have the manual option disabled so it’s going to use UPnP. Is that turned on in your router? I see it’s using port 0, which typically means it’s not on and PMS couldn’t identify the port to use.
I couldn’t tell you, I do not have access to the administrative configuration of the router nor am I able to get it.
Oh. If you don’t have access to administer the router, then there isn’t anything you can do.
I am happy to say I have successfully got remote access working. I am using a VPN service called “PrivateVpn” which has a static ip option that opens ports. It now says that remote access is enabled and working, while i havent tested it i believe my problems should be fixed. Therefore im going to mark this as the solution.
