Firewall in place which is blocking it?
The apps use different ports than a web browser
What port should be open, internally I don’t have any firewall blocking?
As long as the Windows firewall / popup / script blockers aren’t preventing.

Ok, then there’s nothing left to try.
Uninstall the Package. DSM 6 keeps your metadata safely.
As you reinstall and start the lower version, watch the CPU load (widget)
When it is good and settled, then open Plex.
Will I loose all of my settings?
No.
On DSM 6, only the software is removed.
The installer doesn’t touch the Plex share.
When it installs again, it looks for an existing Plex share.
If it finds one, it uses it As-Is.
Thanks, the roll back worked. My spidey sense were correct, the update messed up my iptv stream. Everything is back to normal. Thanks!
