I am using a Mac. I have a Lifetime Plex Pass & the server is installed on a Synology DS420. I have tried numerous times to reclaim the server in the settings. Nothing happens. I have tried numerous times rebooting, and re-trying, and still nothing. It all went wrong after the very latest update.
Thank you for your time, I have done this but unfortunately all it does is ask me to add my media. My media is already there, I just can’t see it in Plex Media Server. What can I do so that you can view my uploaded log file?
You didn’t upload it. You have just copied the link to the local web app of your server. You need to actually download the server logs from there, then drag the zip file into the message editor of this forum.
When you performed FAQ 31, what was the response? Did it display “PlexMediaServer successfully claimed by…” or something else? If something else, what was displayed?
If you are unable to reach Settings → server_name → Troubleshooting to retrieve log files:
It said successfully claimed by” and then my username, which is correct. Thank you for your instructions about the log file. I will try and follow this over the weekend, and post here accordingly.
