Since you’re not stated what the issue is, I don’t know which problem you might have ?
Since the update plex is not responding.
I have qnap ts451+ tried the latest 1.22.2 still not working.
Is there anyway to get back to 1.21
1.22.1.4275 is available as Public.
It contains the fix which broke ARMv7 platforms from 1.21.1.4200 plus 1 or 2 others.
Not responding sounds like your machine was busy upgrading the database ?
(The release upgrades each record in the DB. It’s normal for 25,000 indexed items to require 4-5 minutes to complete. This was stated in the release announcement)
Definitely been more like hours since the install.
Looks like the install didn’t properly stop the running instance and so failed to come back up.
Rebooted and the log looks better, which log should I look at to check status of the DB update?
I’ll start another thread tomorrow if it still isn’t accessible.
How many items are indexed ? (how many files you got ?)
1.22.2.4276 seem ok.
Finally i went back to 1.21.1 PMS restart my nas with fault.
I’m waiting for a stable version!
Hi ChuckPa,
I have just upgraded Plex to this version: PlexMediaServer-1.22.1.4275-48e10484b-x86_64.qpkg and now the server does not seem to work at all anymore when trying to acces the local web interface it only shows: 404 Not Found
This error is shown since the last 45-60 minutes already.
How to fix this?
My Qnap is TS-453B
Show me please ?
Manually grab the logs ZIP file from the PlexData shared folder ?
I restarted my NAS and after that everything worked normally again.
Hi ChuckPa,
i got crash on beta version 4276 , it’s restart my nas please find my logs attached
I see it crashed the entire QTS… That means there’s a major problem somewhere else.
I have not upgraded to 4.5.2. I am still at 4.5.1.1495
Request? Please turn off VERBOSE logging. DEBUG ON only.
I cannot see what is happening when verbose is enabled. It outputs 20x more lines and makes a mess.
ok i turn on debug mode .
i upgraded to 4282 if it can help to resolve my issue.
- You forgot to click “SAVE”
- Changing level is not retroactive. Logs from this point forward will be “DEBUG” level. It will give us more info over a longer period of time.
- We must now wait for it to happen again.
I would consider stepping back down to the older firmware. I am not convinced of 4.5.2. My needs are much more stringent . My machine can never fail (production)
How do I download previous versions? Latest updates have made my server unstable and it keeps crashing. They’ve updated it 3 times in the last week and it still has not fixed the problem.
There is limited availability of older versions.
Please tell me what’s needed, version, and model (CPU spec helps)
I’m also having issues when I installed 1.22.1.4275-48e10484b. It now says the server is unavailable. Running Server 2016. I accidently logged in as a second user but I exited the server, and deleted the Plex registry key for the current user then signed back in as the appropriate user and launched Plex. Any ideas? It keeps wanting to create server 16 template too. I let it create it, then I go into authorized devices, delete it, however my server isn’t working
