Hi Guys,
plex server stop working after the last update 1.22.1.4228. how can i roll back?
I too would like to roll back!
manually install earlier version or…
if you use docker, recreate container using earlier image version
(edited for readability)
Thank you but i’m not using container just the native app.
I think there is issue with new version, i saw it’s the same on synology.
Maybe the developpers work on it !
Hi i upgraded my NAS tonight and i no longer have access to the server settings i dont know if this is the same problem as you i reinstalled an old version and it works again . I hope going back is not problematic. Does anyone have news on a possible resolution or cause of the problem?
Sounds like the issue I reported in Update to 1.22.1.4271 broke PMS on my QNAP
they released a new version today PlexMediaServer-1.22.2.4274-a85c82272-x86_64.qpkg but still the same .
I roll back with qnap catalog buy installing the older 1.21.1 and everything is ok now.
Yes its the same subject, sorry to open this new topic.
has i said before i think this issue is general and until we don’t have a communication for an update fix . We have to stay on 1.21.1.
Roll back to previous. HOLD there until stable.
I’m trying to track down and sweep up the mess.
I will give the
Engineering will let me run initial QA on it to see if everything works.
Thank you @ChuckPa,
On a side note ever since the database update, the firmware releases have appeared to be pretty low quality (or perhaps maybe a little rushed due to self imposed schedule pressures?). I know you are a Team member and retired AND I love Plex and think they do a great job actually. I gotta say though the last few updates seem to show a lack of focus on quality.
Just a customer’s opinion.
Ok buddy.
Can I have a link to 1.21.1 please?
I installed the new update and now my settings are gone.
I can send you a 1.21.1.4079 if you trust me with your email.
I have not gone forward from 4079 yet since I am just not comfortable they got the database change right yet
That’s kind of you, thank you. However, I think I will wait.
Appreciate the offer though.
A problem in the build system caused today’s train wreck.
We’ve got it back.
I’ve tested on Debian and it’s all working.
PMS 1.22.1.4275 is deploying to Public now.
PMS 1.22.2.4276 (if it passes testing) will deploy to Beta
PMS 1.22.1.4275-48e10484b
Deployed. Reports are it’s working again
Thanks for sorting this, Chuck.
Mine is working okay again. Synology DS1520+ with 1.22.1.4275
1.22.2.4276 is also now available for those who want/need the beta release.
Will this fix the issue with plex on qnap?
