I’m working with the team to iron out the Downloads page issue.
It is handing out incorrect file name formatting for the packages .
As it hands them out, you get the incorrect filename on your end.
Package Center then goes out of its mind trying to figure out what to do.

I paused with package development long enough to solidify its features for DSM 7, Packaging 1.0
I’ve not stopped developing.
I’m working on integrating more of the things we need.
The biggest thing I need before advancing – using the Synology ‘share browser & selector’ feature which DSM uses in File Station and the other apps. It’s a common API. Synology’s documentation doesn’t work as written (sufficiently vague as to be ambiguous thereby making it impossible to decode… aka. .I’m waiting on them)
I think i have an issue, it´s from PlexMediaServer-1.22.0.4163-d8c4875dd-x86_64_DSM7 (Beta Version) with Synology DS218+ as Media Server to Playstation 4 APP Player Version 5.9.1
I cannot fast forward the MKV File on PS4 and cannot rewind. The Video hangs up with frozen Picture.
If i go back to Plex Mediathek overview and restart the Video it works again but without rewind/forward.
I’m not sure if it’s been mentioned but Plex is no longer deleting my watched TV Show episodes after a day. I’ve set it up correctly for each TV Show. If i go to a TV Show and change delete after a day to never and save, then change it back to after 1 day, it will delete all the viewed episodes, but then won’t continue to delete after the next episode is watched.
You are referring to issues not specific to DSM 7 & the packaging (installation scripts).

Native HDR support for the NAS platforms is being developed.
There’s one gating factor which requires coordinated (joint) effort from two different teams.
Those teams are developing for all of Linux ; which includes NAS platforms.
We’ll all have full native support when they complete that effort.
I don’t know when that’ll be completed. I will try to follow along and report as I learn more.
I’m awaiting the next DSM 7 beta release as well.
We do need that.
Hopefully everyone is now able to get DSM 7 correctly from the Downloads page?
It´s online for Plex Pass User, when will it be online for normal User ?
It will be available for free users when Engineering releases that version to the public.
A normal update worked for me.
Normal DSM “Manual Update” works perfectly now.
We only had to uninstall that one time to align ourselves to Synology’s updated numbering system.
