I’m not sure why but it appears that TerraMaster wants you to register.

The registration is free.

The registration is free.

Once you complete the free registration, you can login with your non-subscription account and the Plex Media Server updates are still provided for free.
It’s too bad that Plex will not provide the updates for TOS 5.0 so that you would not have to go through all these extra steps but with your free registration, you can click on the word “Plex Media Server” (not the Access Denied button) to get free access to the Plex Media Server updates that are provided by TerraMaster.

Just a Note: It does still works and it is still free.
Until the Plex Team decides to support the Plex Media Server on the TerraMaster updated operating system, we will have to hope that the TerraMaster Team (primarily OutKastM) continues to be gracious to rebuild the updates for free for TOS 5.0 and we will have to continue to jump through whatever extra hoops that they require.to access the updates.

I don’t think I ever noticed this either.
It displays the correct version during the installation.

However, it changes to a different version after it updates but it is not the original version as before.

The TerraMaster website is friendlier now. Instead of the “Access Denied” buttons, you will now see “View More”.

Whatever it is showing you there, it is installing the newest version.
Just enable server debug logs, restart Plex server, then fetch logs and look at the beginning of the Plex Media Server.log file. https://support.plex.tv/articles/200250417-plex-media-server-log-files/
I can only assume that the Terramaster configuration menu doesn’t cope well with manually installed packets.
This website has nothing to do with Terramaster.
It looks to be a private site of that outkastm guy.
The website belonging to outkastm would explain why the downloads from that site is so slow… Unfortunately, until the Plex Team decides to start building Plex Media Server updates that will install on TOS 5.0, we have no other choice.

@ChuckPa Did you ever get a response?
Does the Plex Team have any plans to support TerraMaster (TOS 5)?

We are working on TerraMaster (TOS 5) support and will have a forum preview in the next few weeks. We had some initial issues with the earlier SDK but those have now been worked through.
Thank you @chrisallen !!!
Is there a place that customers can go to stay current on the progress being made in the support of TOS 5.0?
Download was limited to 4 MiB, it should be better now.
tmnascommunity.eu is not officially linked to TerraMaster.
Thank you @outkastm !!!
I’ve been noticing nice improvements to the website each time that I visit it.
@chrisallen @outkastm @ChuckPa
Should I assume that Plex is still not providing updates for TOS 5.0?

Far as I can see Plex confirmed 2 days a go that there will be a preview in the coming weeks, you have to wait a bit. So before you see a separate package for TOS5, is useless to try to install the existing package.
Hi @outkastm ,
Will you be providing the TOS 5.0 update since it does not appear that the Plex Team will?

My PMS download page doesn’t show TOS 5 version… how did you do this?
The link is in the post above you
