Plex Media Server

Hi All,

I’m relatively new to Plex and seem to be having a couple of issues setting up the system. I’ve got a Synology NAS Drive running the Plex Media Server App and hosting the media I wish to be populated in my library. when running a library scan the media server can physically see the files as they are flicking through at the bottom of the screen however after a scan, absolutely none of the movies are populating in the library.

What I’ve found a little strange is that if I go to Films --> All Folders then all of the individual folders and items are populated just not when I change it back to movies.

That is the Web debug… The Server logs are much more useful

Settings - Server - Help - Download Logs.

It will give you a ZIP file.
You can attach that with your next post.

What Issues are you having? Please describe / list them

I have two NAS Drives currently, one NAS has Movies on which is located at \10.10.40.40\Movies. The second houses TV Shows and is located at \10.10.200.31\TV Shows.

My Media Server IP Address as 10.10.40.38

I seem to have no problem connecting to the TV Shows and the TV Shows library populates on the media server.The problem I have is the Movies library… I’ve pointed it at \10.10.40.40\Movies and the scanning library bar shows at the bottom but then just goes straight to saying library scan complete additional information may still be being downloaded from the internet.

Any help is greatly appreciated.
