I have the PMS installed under Debian and also Ubuntu and happen on both,
my problem is that after few days of PMS been running it just “crashes”, when I checked service plexmediaserver status I have messages like this ones:
sh[12712]: Connection to 172.104.235.55 closed by remote host.
sh[12712]: Connection to 139.162.175.123 closed by remote host.
or
sh[12314]: Sqlite3: Sleeping for 200ms to retry busy DB.
sh[12314]: Sqlite3: Sleeping for 200ms to retry busy DB.
is normal to get this messages?
If I stop pms and then start again I can connect fine, sometimes it goes for few hours, other times it goes for a week.
Try to check the crash report, but there is nothing there ( I have checked before I run the stop command and before I start it again )
Not sure if helps, but I do have NFS setup in 2 different servers and share HDD between them.
Settings - Server - Help - Download Logs , attach the ZIP
I need to see messages such as that in context but generally those are normal when the server is heavily loaded (busy).
The “connection” error is more disconcerting. Do you recognize the geographic IP location trace (where it shows on the map) ? If not, verify ISP DHCP assignment. If still unsure I would immediately consider taking steps to secure your system.
