Plex Metadata, Files Remain After Removing Content

After removing videos or deleting entire libraries not all of the metadata is deleted in the ‘Cache/Photo Transcoder’ subfolders. There are tons of subfolders each containing hundreds of photos. Many of them are from stuff that’s been long deleted from Plex after updating the library and emptying trash normally. Why is this stuff still hanging around? The Cache folder is almost 6 GB in size and it’s holding a ton of data I’m no longer using and wasting drive space. I am not going to look through and individually delete each file that I recognize as no longer belonging on Plex and I can’t delete the whole cache because it will remove the stuff that i am still using. I can’t believe old data and current is all mixed together like this and the old junk data isn’t gone.

Furthermore going to videos on the site to choose the poster art won’t allow you to delete any images that you don’t want there. So if you uploaded a photo by accident or the wrong artwork it’s stuck there and can’t be removed!. It’s also impossible to find the actual files for all of the full size photos added for artwork since everything seems to be thrown together in the cache. This looks like a very confusing and chaotic system and I want to be able to easily find photo files in their full size that I’ve added for specific libraries. And I want to be able to have everything deleted for old content that I’ve removed from Plex long ago.
